Elder VT Resource Guide

This book is designed to provide older Vermonters and their families with a list of local (and sometimes national) resources and explain why and how to access them. It can be challenging to know where to begin and where to find the help that you may need along the way. Vermont has a passionate and dedicated support community that can help provide options and answers. But please call us for assistance if you have any needs or seek support (800) 642-5119.

Care Options

It starts with a simple phone call to our helpline:

(800) 642-5119 or (802) 748-5182

We provide assistance  either here in our office, or in your home. We are here to listen and determine the most effective options for you, whether they are connecting you with regional or state organizations, additional staff, or volunteers. We help you to make informed decisions based on your needs and how you want to be helped.

Vermont 2-1-1 is the number to dial to find out about hundreds of important community resources, like emergency food and shelter, disability services, counseling, senior services, health care, child care, drug and alcohol programs, legal assistance, transportation agencies, educational and volunteer opportunities, and much more.
