State Health Insurance Assistance Program

Set Up Your Medicare Online Account
Planning to review or change your Medicare Part D prescription drug plan this year? Be sure to set up your personal Medicare account in advance—it’s a crucial step to make the process easier and more secure.
Open Enrollment runs from October 15 to December 7, and it’s important to review your plan every year. Why? Because insurance companies often change premiums, drug coverage, and even leave the state entirely. If you don’t review your options, you could end up paying more or losing coverage for the medications you need.
After December 7, it’s often too late to make changes—so don’t wait.

"Andrea was very helpful and was able to quickly evaluate my sister’s situation and provide information and best options for coverage. She provided the proper application forms for completion and advised on the timing of submission for the application. That is, noting when the forms should be returned for processing prior to the Medicare coverage “begin-date”.
We enjoyed meeting with Andrea and found her to be competent, kind and respectful throughout the encounter.
The NEK Council on Aging is blessed to have her among its ranks! Thank you!"
