Volunteer With Us

Make a Difference in the Life of an Older Neighbor

Volunteers are at the heart of the Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging. Every meal delivered, every phone call made, and every moment of kindness shared helps older Vermonters stay independent, connected, and cared for.

Whether you can help once a week or once a month, your time and compassion are deeply needed—and deeply appreciated.

Ways to Get Involved

Meals on Wheels Delivery

  • Bring hot, nutritious meals to homebound clients. Routes are local, and most take just 1–2 hours.

Friendly Visits & Phone Check-Ins

  • Help reduce isolation by making a social visit or phone call to an older adult who lives alone.

Tech for Today Support

  • Assist clients with basic technology—setting up video calls, using smartphones or tablets, or reviewing cable and phone bills to help lower costs.

Wellness Class Support

  • Help organize, support, or promote local wellness classes that keep seniors active and engaged.

Meal Site & Event Help

  • Serve meals, greet guests, or lend a hand at community meal sites and NEKCOA events.

And soooo much more....
