Join the Family — Give Monthly
Want to make a lasting impact? Become part of the NEKCOA family by signing up as a monthly donor.
Your ongoing support helps us plan ahead, respond quickly to urgent needs, and ensure that older Vermonters have steady, reliable care throughout the year.
A little each month adds up to a big difference.
Come on — join the family. We’d be proud to have you with us.
The Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is the heart of our giving program and the reason we can continue saying “yes” when someone in the Northeast Kingdom needs help. While state and federal funding provide a foundation, they often fall far short of covering the true needs of older Vermonters.
The Annual Fund fills those critical gaps, allowing us to respond quickly, compassionately, and without restrictions.
Your tax-deductible gift helps keep older adults safe, nourished, connected, and supported in the communities they call home. You can mail your donation to NEK Council on Aging, 481 Summer Street, Suite 101, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819, or click the button below to make a secure online donation and make an immediate impact. Every dollar matters. Every gift helps.
Corporate Sponsorships
We invite area businesses to join us in making a lasting difference for older Vermonters.
By partnering with the NEK Council on Aging, your business becomes part of a vital network of community support — helping to provide meals, wellness programs, caregiver resources, and critical services to neighbors who need them most. It’s more than a donation — it’s an investment in the well-being of our region.
There are many meaningful ways to get involved, and your gift is fully tax-deductible.
Let’s work together to build a stronger, more connected Northeast Kingdom.

Pets 4 Life

In 2010, the NEK Council on Aging launched Pets for Life, a small but meaningful program to help Meals on Wheels recipients in need by providing pet food and litter for their companion animals. With early support from the Banfield Charitable Trust and the Meals on Wheels Association of America, this effort took root and continues to make a real difference.
The goal is simple: to ease the financial burden on older adults who rely on the love and comfort of their pets. For many homebound Vermonters, these animals are family.
Pets for Life is funded entirely by donor contributions. Every dollar goes directly toward purchasing food and supplies for clients who might otherwise have to choose between feeding themselves or their furry friends.
Planned Giving and Bequests
Craft your legacy. Make a lasting impact.
By including the Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging in your estate plans, you ensure that older Vermonters continue to receive the support, care, and dignity they deserve — for generations to come.
To leave a gift in your will, you may use the following recommended language:
"I give and bequeath unto the Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging, tax ID #03-0272861, a direct donation of ($ amount) or (percentage %) of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate to be used for general charitable purposes."
Your legacy will help us provide essential programs like Meals on Wheels, caregiver support, case management, and more — strengthening lives throughout the Northeast Kingdom.
