Meet Neil Glassman – Tech for Today Coordinator

Neil Glassman leads our Tech for Today program with heart, expertise, and a deep commitment to helping older Vermonters stay connected in a digital world. As our volunteer Tech Coordinator, Neil supports a team of dedicated volunteers who help clients navigate their phones, tablets, computers, and internet service plans.

Whether he’s helping someone lower their phone bill, teaching the basics of video calls, or improving the way we receive and respond to tech referrals, Neil brings a thoughtful, problem-solving mindset to everything he does. He’s always looking for ways to make the program better — and make technology feel more accessible for everyone.

Thanks to Neil’s leadership, Tech for Today continues to grow and evolve, meeting real needs in our communities and empowering older adults to feel more confident and connected.

Are you interested in helping seniors navigate lower phone bills and better tech solutions? Whether you have one hour a month or more to give, your time and talents can make a real difference. We’d love to have you on the team!

"I am so grateful for Neil's help.  I could barely use my flip phone for simple phone calls, and it was outdated. I was able to get a new smartphone and Neil has helped me to keep in touch with medical appointments via texting and I am now learning how to use the calendar.  I am the transportation for four friends to and from medical appointments at Dartmouth, NVRH, and Burlington and managing my schedule in a planner is hard.  He is very patient and understands that I may not get it the first time. He is the real deal, thank you!"     Frances from Lyndon, VT
