The Annual Fund

Help Us Reach Our Goal to Support Older Vermonters
Our Annual Fund goal this year is
$58,000, and thanks to generous donors like you, we've already raised
$41,769.54. But we’re not there yet.
As we continue to support older adults across the Northeast Kingdom, the need is only growing — and so are the challenges. With shifts in federal priorities and ongoing threats to programs like Meals on Wheels, we’re facing uncertainty at the national level that makes local support more critical than ever.
Every dollar you give helps us deliver nutritious meals, connect seniors to vital services, and provide compassionate care that allows people to age with dignity and independence. Your support directly helps your neighbors — the people who built this region, raised families here, and now need a hand.
Please consider a gift today to help us close the gap and reach our goal. Together, we can ensure that no one in the NEK is left behind.
Give now. Make an impact. Be the difference.

When we address the needs of older Vermonters, we improve the lives of all Vermonters.

Support That Lasts a Lifetime
The Annual Fund is a vital source of support for the Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging. Your gift helps fill the gaps where state and federal funding fall short, allowing us to respond flexibly to the needs of our aging neighbors across the region.
Thanks to our generous donors, we’re able to support a wide range of essential services, including:
- Meals on Wheels, delivering nutritious food and a safety check to older Vermonters who may live alone.
- Rural Community Transportation (RCT), helping seniors get to medical appointments, the grocery store, community meals, or even one of our fitness classes.
- Senior Companions, trained volunteers who brighten lives through help with errands, shared activities, and meaningful companionship.
- Help at Home, where experienced case managers help older adults create personal care plans to stay safe and independent at home.
- Wellness Activities, such as evidence-based fitness classes and nutrition workshops that promote strength, balance, and healthy living.
- Tech for Today, where volunteers assist older adults in navigating technology—from managing devices and internet plans to staying connected with loved ones and telehealth services.
